4.4 Setting the temperature
Setting 0:
OFF
Setting 1:
minimum heat
Setting 2:
medium heat
Setting 3:
maximum heat
NOTE
The fastest way to warm up the heat pad is to initially set the highest temperature setting of the control, first.
NOTE
This heat pad have a turbo function, which allows the heat pad to warm up faster in the first 10 minutes.
CAUTION
If the heat pad is being used over several hours it is recommended
to use the lowest setting (1) of the control to avoid overheating the
heated body part, which may lead to burns to the skin.
4.5 Automatic switch-off
This heat pad is equipped with an automatic switch-off function. This turns off the heat supply approx. 90 minutes
after the initial use of the heat pad. The temperature setting display then starts to flash. So that the heat pad can be
switched back on, the sliding switch for ON/OFF and temperature settings must first be set to setting 0 (OFF). After
about 5 seconds it is possible to switch it on again.
4.6 Switching off
To switch the heat pad off, set the sliding switch for ON/OFF to setting 0 (OFF) position. The temperature settings are then no longer
illuminated.
NOTE
If the heat pad is not in use, switch the side sliding switch for ON/OFF and temperature settings to the OFF (0) position and
remove the mains plug from the socket. Then disconnect the control from the heat pad by unplugging the plug-in coupling.

WARNING
Before cleaning, always remove the mains plug from the socket first. Then disconnect the control from the heat pad by
unplugging the plug-in coupling. Otherwise there is a risk of electric shock.
CAUTION
The control must never come into contact with water or other liquids. Otherwise, the control may be damaged.
• To clean the control, use a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaning agents.
• Small marks on the heat pad can be removed with a damp cloth or sponge, or if necessary, with a little liquid detergent for delicate
laundry.
CAUTION
Please note the heat pad must not be dry-cleaned, wrung out, machine dried, pressed or ironed.
• In case of heavier soiling, this heat pad can be washed in a washing machine.
• Set the washing machine to a particularly gentle, 30 °C cycle (woolens programme). Use a wool laundry detergent and follow the
manufacturer's instructions.
