2. INTRODUCTION

2.1GENERAL DESCRIPTION

WELDKAR PLASMA 4060 PFC
With its handy and portable construction, the Weldkar
WK Plasma 4060 PFC is excellent for cutting on site and
of course in the workshop as well. With its output of 40
amps on 230 volts, this machine can cut through steel
up to 18 mm thick. The advanced inverter technology
gives this machine high cut quality. The on-air plasma
arc ignition system provides safe and optimal ignition.
This plasma cutter is equipped with a 6-meter Weldkar
plasma torch and a pressure regulator. The machine
is provided with CE, EMC and PFC (Power Factor
Correction) and suitable for generator use.
The plasma inverter is supplied as standard with a:
- WK Plasma 4060 Inverter Power source
- Power cable 5 meter, 3 x 2.5 mm²
- 230 Volt power plug
- Earth clamp with 4-meter earth cable and DIN Plug
- Air hose
- Plasma cutting torch PT 60 - 6 meter
- Operating manual

2.4 THERMAL PROTECTION

This inverter is protected by a thermostat. When the
thermostat is tripped, the machine stops delivering
current but the fan continues to run. The yellow led (4)
lights to indicate when it is tripped. Do not shut off the
welding machine until the led has gone off.
