Operation
Ensure that the inlet side of the line connected to the pump inlet is submerged in water. With power on
and the discharge line open, allow the pump to prime. If equipped with an on-demand pressure switch the
pump will turn on when the discharge line is open and will turn off once the line is closed and the switch
off pressure is reached. Note that the pump is intended for intermittent duty only. If allowed to overheat
the thermal protection will shut it off until sufficiently cooled, at which point it will automatically reset and
pump will restart.
Spray Tip
In spraying applications the pressure generated by the pump is generally dependent upon the size of the
spray nozzle. An undersized spray nozzle will cause the pump pressure switch to cycle on and off and create
a pulsating flow from the pump. Improper duty cycle and/or rapid start/stop conditions caused by undersized
spray nozzles can cause the internal thermal breaker to trip, or can cause premature motor failure due to
excessive heat.
Maintenance
During Season
Periodically (monthly recommended) check electrical connections, hydraulic connections and plumbing for
looseness, any signs of damage, or anything else unusual. Inspect strainer and clean as needed. The pump
should be flushed with water after each use (if applicable) whenever pumping a liquid other than water.
Off-Season & Winterizing
Properly drain pump by removing the inlet line from the fluid and running the pump until it is no longer
dispensing fluid. Winterize the pump (if in environment where temperatures will go below freezing) with
an appropriate anti-freeze by running the pump so as to fill with anti-freeze. Do not allow any fluid in the
pump to freeze. If this occurs the fluid will expand and can crack the pump or damage internal components.

WHICH ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED AND EXCLUDED. EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED BY LAW, BUYER'S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AND SELLER'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY
FOR BREACH OF ANY OF THE FOREGOING WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO REPAIRING OR REPLACING THE PRODUCT AND SHALL IN ALL CASES BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID
BY THE BUYER HEREUNDER. IN NO EVENT IS SELLER LIABLE FOR ANY OTHER FORM OF DAMAGES, WHETHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, LIQUIDATED, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL,
