Start-up
• To connect or loosen the conductor, press the white actuation
lever at the top of the clamp (see figure 5).
• Wire the device according to the connecting diagram in figure 6.
Connect the DALI bus to the corresponding terminals (B) (see
•
figure 6).
• To supply the gateway, connect the neutral conductor and the
external conductor to the terminal (G) (see figure 6).
• Plug the network cable into the Ethernet port (F) and connect it
to a router (see figure 6).
The mains terminals may only be used to connect the mains voltage
to the device. The connection (looping through) of conductors via
the network terminals of the device to other devices is not permit-
ted!
• Replace the cover of the power distribution panel.
• Turn the main fuse back on (see fig. 7) to activate the device's
pairing mode (see see „5.3 Pairing" on page 36).
After installation and before connecting the device to the app, simple
operating functions (e.g. for test purposes) are available directly on the
device (see „6 Operation" on page 37).
5.3 Pairing
Please read this entire section before commencing the pairing
procedure.
First set up your Homematic IP Access Point via the Homematic IP
app to enable operation of other Homematic IP devices within your
system. For further information, please refer to the access point op-
erating manual.
