Locks of the remote control
All monitors can be closed against the unintentional operation / adjustment over the remote control. The use of the function can
be recommended particularly at several monitors which are installed spatially near to each other.
A four-digit ID can be assigned to every monitor. It is made sure by means of this ID that every monitor can separately be operated
with the remote control.
The monitor is adjusted in the delivery state on the ID "0000". The ID "0000" is reserved for the "Unlocked Mode" in which all
monitors react to the commands of the remote control.
Adjust a certain ID at every monitor in the range of "0001" to "9999".
The adjustment of the display ID must be carried out by the system administrator.
You must enter the Display ID once more with the remote control (or RS232) to activate the lock function.
The following info window appears at the buttom left at the screen:
After the activation of the lock function the monitor does not react to commands of the remote control any more.
The monitor is after every restart (mains voltage off / on) always in the "Locked mode".
You enter the code 0 to lock all monitors at the same time which are within reachable space of the remote control.
The OSD menu must be open.
If the monitor shall be operated, you must enter the Display ID for this monitor with the remote control.
The following info window appears at the buttom left at the screen:
The monitor reacts again to all commands of the remote control.
For the renewed activation of the lock function you enter, the display ID once again with the remote control after completion of
the adjustment and at closed OSD menu.
The monitor resides in the "Locked Mode" again.
The monitor can be locked or enabled also over the RS232 interface.
