This weather station includes a touch screen monitor, a transmitter, wind direction
sensor, wind speed sensor, rain gauge sensor, USB cable and PC software on CD-ROM.
1.1 Setting up Wind Direction and Speed Sensors
1.1 Setting up Wind Direction and Speed Sensors
1. On the edge of the wind direction sensor North (N), East (E), South (S) and West
(W) are labelled accordingly. The sensor has to be adjusted so that the directions
on the sensor are pointing in the correct direction (i.e. the N has to be pointing
North; E has to be pointing East, etc.).
2. The wind speed sensor wire has to be inserted into the phone jack on the wind
direction sensor located underneath the sensor (see diagram 6).
3. The wind direction sensor wire has to be inserted into the phone jack on the
transmitter, labelled WIND (see diagram 7).
4. Insert the rain gauge sensor wire into the transmitter, labelled RAIN
(see diagram 7).
Make sure all components are working properly before permanently
mounting the sensors.
