Electrical installation:
MultiAir FC/FCE blowers are delivered for:
3 x 380-480V 50/60Hz voltage range.
MultiAir MA blowers are delivered for:
3 x 380-415V 50Hz voltage range, or
3 x 440-480V 60Hz voltage range
(see the blowers model plate).
All local factory inspectorate regulations must be com-
plied with. Check that the on site electricity supply is
suitable for the Multiair blower. See also the separate
instructions for the MultiAir FC/FCE blower´s electrical
equipment, that is supplied with the blower.
NB - beside the cable gland for the supply cable and
the potential equalization clamp, there are 7 cable
glands. These can be used for control power lines,
differential pressure transmitter (flow or pressure/
vacuum control) connections, digital inputs and outputs,
signal transmitters for the different operating points of
the blower, equipment for error message of the operat-
ing mode of the blower etc.
Important - the blower shall be potential equalized via
the terminal to the right of the supply cable´s relief (at
the symbol for potential equalizing).
The supply and potential equalizing cables are con-
nected as follows:
1 - open both doors
2 - route the supply cable through the cable relief in the
bottom frame, just below the main switch.
The potential equalizing cable is mounted to the right
of the supply cable and fastened. NOTE - Connect only
one cable (with ring cable lugs) per bolt.
3 - Insert the supply cable into the main switch and
connect in accordance with the labelling. Ferrules must
be used.
The cable relief in the bottom frame and on the bracket
behind the switch is tightened.
MultiAir FC/FCE
Between the PLC and its 24V power supply is a circuit
breaker, protecting PLC and operator panel. This is
delivered ON, but may switch OFF in case of overload.
