Type 0 607 453 434/... 435/... 436/... 437/... 438
Right/Left Rotation
The machines have torque-dependent
ratcheting clutches that can be
adjusted over a wide range.
respond when the adjusted torque is
reached.
For higher torques, a correspondingly greater
counter force is necessary.
With a clamping device in the area 4, this counter
force can more easily be counteracted.
Machines that are operated with a torque greater than
7 Nm are to be used with a clamping device or an
auxiliary handle.
Take care that the auxiliary handle or the clamping
device holds the machine in a firm and secure manner.
Reversing Rotational Direction
Right rotation: Slide the right/left switch 5 to the
right.
Left rotation:
Slide the right/left switch 5 to the
left.
Pressure Sensing
Type 0 607 453 429/... 430/... 431/... 432/... 433
The machine provides the possibility of automatically
producing a switch-off signal by means of pressure
sensing when the torque setting is reached. This
switch-off signal serves, for example, for controlling a
conveyer belt and documentation of the bolting
actions during fabrication or controls the bolt feeding
for an automatic bolting machine.
The pressure sensing is possible only in right
rotation of the machine.

switch-off
The pressure sensing reacts to the switching off of the
clutch and produces the switch-off signal.

Connecting for Pressure Sensing
Unscrew the glued-in M5 Allen screw 7.

The disassembly takes place in the reverse order.
Secure the Allen screw 7 with Loctite 221.
Replacing the Spring
In case work is performed with lower torques (approx.
0.6 – 2.5 Nm) than given in the product specifications,
the spring 21 can be replaced with a white spring.
Unscrew the housing 2 (left-hand threads!).
Remove the snap ring 13 with snap ring pliers and
back-up ring 14 as well as the spring 15 and clamp
P(bar/psi)
bushing 16 of the quick change collet.

P2
Remove the ball 17 and O-ring 18.

P1
Pull the clutch 19 out of the housing 2.
4
Remove the retainer ring 20.
3
Insert the adjustment tool 11 in the cut-out of the
2
adjustment disk 12 and turn to the left until the

tension of the spring 21 contained therein is
T(s)
completely released and it can be removed.

T2
Insert a new spring and reassemble the clutch in the
reverse order.
Be careful that no dirt enters the open
drilling.
Take care when connecting a signal hose
that no leakage air
would otherwise falsify the signal.
