Clean the engine by hand (avoid introducing water into the
air filter and exhaust). Avoid wetting the controls and other
equipment / accessories that are difficult to dry (water
stimulates the appearance of corrosion and rust).
Do not use aggressive cleaning products. These products
may damage plastics and metals, compromising the safe
operation of the lawnmower.
To avoid the risk of fire, the ventilation slots and the exhaust
must remain free of flammable waste.
Maintenance:
Only maintenance works described in this instruction
manual may be carried out all other works must be
performed by an official distributor.
Only use accessories, oils or greases authorized by VITO.
Not doing so may result in personal injuries or damages to
the lawnmower. In case of doubt, you should contact an
official distributor.
For safety reasons, the fuel conductive components (fuel
hoses, tank, tank cap and couplings) should be checked
regularly for damage and leaks. If necessary, they should
be replaced by an official distributor.
Keep warning and information stickers always clean and
legible.
Keep all nuts and bolts well tightened in order to ensure a
safe operation.
If any components or safety devices are removed for
maintenance
tasks,
immediately.
Never store the lawnmower with petrol in the tank inside a
building. Petrol vapours may come into contact with flames
or sparks and ignite.
Store the lawnmower in a dry area with the fuel tank empty
and the fuel in a well-ventilated compartment. Avoid places
with high humidity to avoid the appearance of corrosion
and rust.

Clean the equipment thoroughly before storage, especially
in winter. Keep the device in a good operating condition.
Make sure the appliance is protected against misuse (for
example, by children).
Your lawnmower should only be serviced by the
manufacturer's internal service personnel, or other
qualified personnel, replacing any necessary parts with
original parts sourced directly from the manufacturer.
Lift the handle and align the holes, then place the screws
and knobs. Put the recoil starter on the right side of the
handle, fixing the cord with plastic cable clamp.
Insert the recoil starter cord into the holder.
The handle has two height adjustment positions: "L" or "H".
The "H" hole is the highest position of the handle, and the
"L" hole is the lowest position.
