Unplug the mixer before removing the beaters or kneading hooks
and before cleaning.

Never immerse the motor unit in water nor rinse it under the
tap.

Never use any accessories or parts from other manufacturers or
that have not been specifically advised by Philips.Your guarantee
will become invalid if such accessories or parts have been used.

Using the appliance
The rotating bowl is especially suitable for large quantities. If you want
to process small quantities, we advise you to use a small bowl and to
hold the mixer with your hand.
Mixing with the mixer on the stand
1 Place the mixer on the stand. First fit the front of the mixer into
the snap hook in the holder and then press the rear end of the
mixer down ('click') (fig. 1).
1 Press the holder release button and tilt the holder with the mixer
backwards (fig. 2).
2 Insert the beaters or kneading hooks into the mixer. Make sure
you insert the beater or the kneading hook with the plastic collar
into the larger opening in the bottom of the mixer (fig. 3).
It may be necessary to turn the beaters or kneading hooks slightly while
doing this.
The plastic collar on the beater or kneading hook remains visible; the
beater or kneading hook cannot be inserted further into the appliance.
3 Put the plug in the wall socket.
4 Put the ingredients in the bowl.
For the best result, put the liquid ingredients in the bowl first and then
add the dry ones.
5 Place the bowl on the stand (fig. 4).
