Information about the intended use
IMPORTANT! The standing stool is designed for a maximum load of 110 kg.
Keep all small parts, packaging bags and foil away from babies and small children - danger of
suffocation!
Only use the Ergotopia
Dykó as intended as a standing stool to avoid any risk of accidents. The
®
Dykó is a fully dynamic, non-locking standing stool designed to support active sitting. Because of
this mobility, care should be taken to ensure safe use. Always place both feet on the floor, not on
the dynamic base section. The Dykó must not be used as a climbing aid! Do not stand or kneel on
the seat due to the risk of accidents.
Ensure that you sit down carefully on the standing stool, jumping onto/bouncing
on the standing stool can lead to injuries.
Please note that the Dykó can become electrostatically charged through friction (caused by
clothing, for example). This is usually not harmful to persons. However, irrespective of the discharge
energy, the resulting shock and physical reaction can lead to injuries.

Maintenance and care of the Dykó standing stool
WARNING! Only trained personnel are permitted to replace or repair height adjustment compo-
nents in seating furniture that contain energy storage systems.
Regular cleaning of the stool is recommended to keep your Ergotopia
as possible.
Light dirt, such as dust, can be removed from all metal and plastic surfaces with a damp cloth
(using all-purpose cleaner or detergent where necessary). The textile cover can be cleaned with a
vacuum cleaner nozzle at low power.
If heavier contamination is present, e.g., due to food, stains, etc., cleaning should be carried by a
specialist.
The upholstery can be damaged by rivets on clothing and shoes. Other sharp-edged objects, or pet
claws and teeth, can also damage the upholstery.
