• Any gasoline operated house-
hold generator can produce
voltage variations causing
damage to voltage sensitive
appliances or could result in
fire.

• Raising or suspending genera-
tors equipped with lifting hooks
improperly could cause gen-
erator to fall causing serious
injury or death to you or others.
• Keep children away from the
generator at all times.
• Do not operate the generator
when fatigued or under the
influence of alcohol or drugs.
Stay alert at all times.
• Never defeat the safety fea-
tures of this product.
• Equip area of operation with a
fire extinguisher.
• Do not operate generator with
missing, broken or un au tho-
rized parts.
• Never stand on the generator.
• Always use a U.L. listed volt-
age sensitive surge protector
to connect voltage sensitive
appliances (TV, computer, ste-
reo, etc.). Failure to use a U.L.
listed voltage surge protector
will void the warranty on your
generator. notICE: A multiple
outlet strip is not a surge pro-
tector. Make sure you use an
U.L. listed voltage surge pro-
tector
• Always use proper connecting
procedures as described in
this manual when connecting
cables, chains or straps for
raising or suspending genera-
tors equipped with lifting hook.
• Improper raising or suspending
of generator can cause dam-
age to the generator.
• Generator will not operate
properly while suspended and
will cause damage to the gen-
erator and could cause serious
injury or death to you or others.

or straps rated at 2000 lbs
(907 kg) working load or more
to raise or suspend generator.
• Never operate generator while
suspended or in an unlevel
position. Always operate gen-
erate on a flat, level surface.

equipment: ANSI S12.6
(S3.19) hearing protection.
HoW to prEVEnt It
• The generator is too heavy to
be lifted by one person. Obtain
assistance from others before
you try to move it.
