WARNING: Cutting metal generates sparks
that can cause fire. Do not use the product
near flammable material or gases.
• The product is made to cut concrete, brick and
different stone materials. Do not use the product for
other tasks.
• Do not cut asbestos materials.
• Make sure that only approved persons are in the
work area.
• Do not move the product when the cutting equipment
rotates.
• Hold the product with 2 hands. Hold the product
tightly with thumbs and fingers fully around the
plastic handles with insulation. The right hand must
be on the rear handle and the left hand on the front
handle. All operators must use this hold. Do not
operate a power cutter with only 1 hand.
• Keep all parts of your body away from the rotating
diamond chain. To touch a rotating diamond chain
can result in serious injury or death.
• Stand parallel to the guide bar. Avoid standing
straight behind. If a kickback occurs, the product will
move in the plane of the guide bar.
• Do not go away from the product with the motor on.
Before you go away from the product, stop the motor
and make sure that there is no risk of accidental
start.
• Do not use the kickback zone of the guide bar for
Kickback zone on page 12 for
cutting. Refer to
instructions.
• Be careful when you operate corners and sharp
edges. Avoid bouncing and snagging the materials.
It can cause loss of control and kickback.
• Do not operate the product before the work area is
clear and your feet and body are in a stable position.
• Do not cut above shoulder height.
• Do not cut from a ladder. Use a platform or scaffold if
the cut is above shoulder height. Do not overreach.
• Stay at a comfortable distance from the work piece.

• Make sure that the cutting equipment can move
freely when the motor is started.
• Apply the diamond chain carefully with high rotating
speed (full power). Keep full speed until cutting is
complete.
• Let the product do the work. Do not push the
diamond chain.
• Feed the product down in line with the guide bar and
diamond chain. Pressure from the side can cause
damage to the guide bar and diamond chain and is
very dangerous.
• Move the diamond chain slowly forward and
rearward to get a small contact area between the
diamond chain and the material to be cut. This
decreases the temperature of the chain and is an
effective way to cut.
To do a check of the RCD
1. Start the product, refer to
page 15 .
2. Look into the inspection holes and push the RCD
test button.
3. Make sure that the RCD moves and that it
disconnects the product from the power supply.
4. Turn the RCD reset knob to reset the RCD.
To adjust the spray guard
