What to do if the appliance does not work

10.1 Difficulty to light on the fire
• Open the primary air and the smoke log;
• Use well dry wood;
• Verify that the flue is suitable to the appliance used.

10.2 Smoke comes out from the plate

• Verify that the primary air log is open;
• Verify that the inlet of the chimney does not leak;
• Verify that the ash and the combustion residuals do not obstruct the exhaust duct or the grill;
• Insufficient draught (see connection flue).

10.3 The glass becomes dirty very quickly

• Dump wood: use well dried wood, with a percentage of humidity between 12% and 20%;
• Verify that the ash and the combustion residuals do not obstruct the exhaust duct or the grill;
• Not suitable combustible material;
• Too much combustible material;
• Insufficient draught (see connection flue).

10.4 There is condensation inside the combustion chamber

• During the initial ignitions it is normal the creation of condensation since the cladding materials contain moisture;
• If the problem persists, ensure that the wood used is not dump or poorly dried.
• Verify that the chimney is not too big and that the fire is not able to heat it to the top.
