Before using the appliance for
the first time READ THESE
INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY

Advice before using, every time
• Check that all parts are properly assembled.
• Check the condition of the cable. Do not hesitate to change
it as soon as the slightest fault is visible: crushing,
pinching, breakage of a wire, etc.
• Check the tightness of the nuts.
• Check the operation of the winch.
• Check that the tension is the same in both strands of each cable.
• Check operation before every use.

General precautions for use
• When the plaster board is at the right height, stop pressing the winch handle to avoid
premature wear of the winch or the cable.
• Check that the cable coils properly during lifting so as to obtain uniform layers.
• Do not use the tool trays as ladders or work platforms. If necessary, use a regulation
individual work platform for work at heights.
• Avoid cluttering the work area to facilitate movement of the board lifter.
• Use the board lifter on a stable surface, capable of supporting the weight of the device
when loaded.
• Do not move the board lifter when loaded and raised.
• Do not let children handle the board lifter.
• The user must ensure his own safety and that of persons in the vicinity.
• Use the taliatop® on a stable surface, able to support the weight of the device
when loaded.
• Do not remove safety elements.
• No changes should be made without the manufacturer's approval.
• Helmet wearing: Follow the legislation in force.
• Have the appliance checked periodically by an inspection body (Decree of 1 March
2004).

• Check that the Certificate of Conformity is present.
• Only use the device if it is in perfect working order.
IMPORTANT
The device is designed to be used with its antenna for fitting plaster
board. Any other use, especially without its antenna can cause it to
disfunction.

pin (handle on the same side as

system
To unlock the arms,
press the locking system indexing pins.
For all uses, position the arm according to the size of the board
the extensions beyond the maximum mark.
It is possible to adjust the loading height when loading the boards on the
antenna;
the following guidelines must be followed. Risk of the
appliance being out of balance!
