SOIN ET ENTRETIEN DES SOUPAPES(VALVES) DE SUCCION
Après chaque patient
Verser de l'eau propre à travers l'instrument, ouvrir et fermer
la soupape(valve) plusieurs fois; ce qui permettra de libérer les
débris.
Soin quotidien
Utiliser une brosse et un détergent doux pour nettoyer les
surfaces internes. Lorsque le fonctionnement de la soupape devient
difficile, retirer la bobine, inspecter et nettoyer toutes les parties
incluant les joints toriques (o-rIngs). Remettre les joints toriques, lubrifier et
ré-assembler. Au besoin remplacer les joints toriques, si ils sont
endommagés
Désinfection de surface
Certains désinfectants qui ne nuiront pas aux instruments sont:
birex se®, sporicidin®, coldspor, procide-d® spray, sterall plus
spray, asepticide, biocide, promedyne, iodo-five, wescodyne et
cavicide. Le nettoyage par ultrasons des soupapes n'est pas
recommandée.
AVERTISSEMENT
Sodium hypochlorite ou les agents de blanchiment peuvent endommager les
instruments et annuler la garantie du fabricant.
Stérilisation
HVE et SE ayant un corps en métal peuvent être stérilisés par les méthodes
suivantes: autoclave à vapeur, vapeur chimique ou chaleur sèche.
Précaution
Température de stérilisation ne doit pas dépasser 275°f (135°c); maintenir pour au
moins 6 minutes. Il faut éviter le contact de l'instrument avec le mur du stérilisateur
et éviter la proximité des éléments chauffants.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF VACUUM VALVES
After each patient
Draw clean water through the instrument, work the valve open
and closed several times; this will free debris.
Daily care
Use a stiff brush and mild detergent to clean internal surfaces.
When operation of valve becomes difficult, remove spool,
inspect and clean all parts including o-rings. Reapply o-ring
lube and reassemble. Replace o-rings if found to have nicks
or missing portions.
Surface disinfecting
Some disinfectants that will not adversely affect the instruments
are: birex se®, sporicidin®, coldspor, procide-d® spray, sterall plus
spray, asepticide, biocide, promedyne, iodo-five, wescodyne and
cavicide. Ultrasonic cleaning of vacuum valves is not recommended.
Sodium hypochlorite or bleaching agents will damage this instrument and void
manufacturer's warranty.
Sterilization
HVE and SE vacuum valves having a metal (silver) body can be sterilized by
the following methods: steam autoclave, chemical vapour or dry heat.
Caution
Sterilization temperature should not exceed 275°f (135°c); 6 minutes holding time,
minimum. also avoid instrument contact of sterilizer wall and avoid close
proximity to heating elements
