Écrans protecteurs
Nous recommandons l'usage d'écrans protecteurs pour toutes surfaces à contacts,
particulièrement celles difficiles à nettoyer ( ex. Interrupteurs, ...) Changer les écrans
protecteurs entre chaque patient. Pour une protection accrue, nous recommandons
aussi l'usage d'écrans protecteurs pour les tubulures et la seringue à 3 fonctions.
Air propre
L'unité Safari Expédition est équipée d'un compresseur sans huile lequel est jumelé à
un réservoir en acier inoxydable, unique à Safari, lequel inhibe toutes possibilités de
rouille ou autre déchet.
Pour un air sec, purger le réservoir entre chaque patient. Pour ce, d'abord fermer
l'interrupteur du compresseur(Voir illustration #4-G) puis simplement insérer l'outil de
drainage à l'endroit indiqué "DRAIN" lequel se retrouve à l'arrière de l'unité (Voir
illustration #5-D). Presser l'outil jusqu'à expulsion totale de l'air du réservoir. Répéter
au besoin si des signes d'humidité persistent.
Pièce à main haute et basse vitesse
Suivre les instructions du manufacturier de vos pièces à main.
Moteurs
Les moteurs sont scellés et ne requièrent aucune lubrification. En cas de défaut, ne
pas tenter d'ouvrir ces derniers et de les réparer. Toutes tentatives de réparation
pourraient engendrer des blessures. Il est recommandé de retourner l'unité chez son
distributeur ou directement chez SAFARI DENTAL INC.
Barriers
Use surface barriers to protect clinical contact surfaces, particularly those that are
difficult to clean (e.g., switches....) and change surface barriers between patients.
For more protection, we also recommend the use of barriers for hand piece tubing, 3-
way syringe and oral evacuation tubing.
Clean air
Safari Expedition unit is equipped with an oil less clean air compressor and use a
unique Stainless Steel air reservoir.. No rust ( Unique to Safari )
To get 100 % dry air, purge air reservoir after each patient. To do so, turn off the
compressor switch (see illustration #4-G) then insert the small draining tool on the
''DRAIN'' in the back of the unit. (see illustration #5-D). Push in to release all air in
unit. Repeat this procedure if sing of humidity still appear.
Low and high speed hand piece
Follow the manufacturer's instructions for your hand pieces.
Motors
The motors are sealed and require no lubrication. If the motor does not start, do not
try to open or repair. All repairs incorrectly entail risk of electric shocks. It is
recommended to return to the distributor or directly to SAFARI DENTAL INC.
