Connecting and Using the Foot Control
You can control when you start and stop sewing either via the Ein / Stand-by button or
via the foot control.
PLEASE NOTE!
■ Make sure that the Ein / Stand-by button is not depressed when you connect and use
the foot control!
■ Ensure that there is nothing resting on the foot control when the sewing machine is
not in use!
Threading in the Upper Thread
The sewing machine has two holders for the upper thread: the bobbin holder for the up-
per thread on which you can attach the bobbin which is supplied with the device, and the
thread spool pin onto which you can plug any spool of thread you want.
For the 3-thread function (sewing with two upper threads and one lower thread), use both
holders at the same time.
PLEASE NOTE!
■ Make sure when you choose the thread that it is suitable for sewing machines. A
thread which is not suitable may, for example, quickly rip during sewing.
■ Use the same sizes of thread for the upper thread and lower thread!
If the sewing machine has already been supplied with inlaid thread, check the
thread guidance carefully before you change the thread.
1. Place the mini sewing machine on a table or another fl at and dry surface.
2a. Using the bobbin holder: Pull the bobbin holder out of the device and remove the
spring. First attach one of the bobbins supplied and then the spring to the bobbin
holder. Then push the bobbin holder (with the spring) into the associated opening in
the device.

1. Connect the mains adapter cable to the associated socket
on the sewing machine.
2. Plug the adapter plug into an easily accessible plug sock-
et which corresponds to the technical data of the mains
adapter.
3. To disconnect the device from the mains, fi rst pull the
adapter plug out of the plug socket and then pull the
adapter cable out of the socket on the sewing machine.
• Connect the plug on the foot control cable to the associat-
ed socket on the sewing machine and then place the foot
control on the fl oor.
• When you press your foot down on the foot control, the
sewing machine runs. If you release your foot from the foot
control, the sewing machine stops.
