It is strictly forbidden to transport a person or animals on
the front rack! Danger of accident!
The front rack can be loaded with max. 15 kg. Overloading
can damage the front rack and the e-bike.
Pay attention to a safe stand of the e-bike when loaded.
Please note that the stopping distance may increase when
the e-bike is loaded. Do a test stop to familiarise with the
conditions.
Note the following before you start the ride:
• The load must be secured in all directions and must not move.
• The VarioStraps must be securely hooked on the knobs.
• Strictly avoid parts of the load to reach through the front rack as
they can get caught in the front light or the front wheel. Danger of
accident!
•
The balance point of the load must be positioned in the centre of
the front rack.
• The load must not be wider than the handlebar and must not
extend the base of the front rack more than 15 cm at the front.
• The handlebar must not collide with the load when steering.
• The ends of the straps must not hang down from the front rack
(Figure 24). They always must be secured on one of the four knobs
(Figure 25).
