7. Operation

7.1. Turn ON the camera

Any time after the batteries and SD card have been inserted, you can switch on the camera.
Put the switch in the "ON" position; the camera is ready to work.
The red start-up indicator light will blink and the LCD display will count down 5 seconds. This
interval allows you time to close the camera front cover and leave the monitored area.
Once in the ON mode, the camera will take photos or videos according to its current
parameter settings.
NOTE: the camera comes pre-programmed with factory default settings. So for test purpose,
you only need to insert the SD card and AA batteries then power on the camera (switch in
the ON position).
7.2. Turn OFF the camera
Slide the switch to the OFF position to turn off the camera. Please note that even in OFF
mode, the camera still consumes power at a very low level. Therefore, please remove the
batteries if the camera will not be used for a long time.

first time is strongly recommended, especially when the card has
been used in other devices. An SD card formatted in another
device may not be compatible.
WARNING: When you format a SD memory card, the operating
system erases all information and files on the card.
ON / OFF
Select "ON" then press "OK" to set an ID number for the camera
(4 digits/letters between 0 and 9 and A and Z). Such function can
help you identify from where and from which camera the photos
are.
NTSC / PAL
PAL = European TV format
NTSC = North-American TV format
50Hz / 60Hz
An improper setting may cause the camera screen to flicker.
Yes / No
Select "Yes" to reset the camera back to the factory default
settings.
This parameter shows the firmware version information.
