3. Power supply

3.1.
Batteries
The camera runs on 12 AA size batteries (12V power supply to ensure camera good performance of all functions). The product can work with
alkaline or high quality NiMH rechargeable batteries.
Please choose the battery type you're using in the menu option "Battery type" to reach longer operation time.
Before inserting or removing the batteries, the camera must be turned off (switch in the OFF position).
When inserting the batteries, make sure to follow polarity indicated inside the battery slot. Upside down batteries may cause device
malfunction.
Also, we strongly recommend changing the batteries when power icon on camera screen or photo stamp is empty.
NOTE: Don't mix battery types! Different batteries to be used in camera may cause permanent damage not covered by the guarantee.
3.2.

Solar panel

This camera is able to work with most standard 12V/2A lithium battery build-in solar panels.
However, as rechargeable AA NiMH batteries need higher voltage for charging that solar panel can't charge the batteries used in the battery
slots.
3.3.
Power adaptor – Security surveillance purpose
This camera can also be powered by an external 12V/2A DC adapter. We recommend removing the AA size batteries when a power adapter is
used. DC power is recommended for security purposes.
4. SD card
Using a memory card is required to operate the camera. When camera is in SETUP mode and no memory card is inserted, the screen displays
"No SD card". The SD slot of the camera has a 32 GB memory capacity.
Before inserting or removing the memory card, the camera must be turned off (switch in the OFF position). Failing to do so may cause loss of
or damage the files already recorded on the memory card.
When the SD card is full, the viewing screen indicates "Memory Full".

5. Attaching the antenna

Screw the threaded base of the antenna onto the socket on top of the camera. Make sure it is securely attached, but do not over-tighten it.
