Use
Modifications may only be carried out by
specialised medical personnel.
Determining the correct shoe size is very impor-
tant for the functionality of the shoe. The shoe
is worn in pairs.
1. Determine the correct shoe size from the
insole length.
2. Open the shoe. The hook and loop fastener
allows the Healing Shoe to be opened and
closed quickly and easily.
3. The tried and tested 4-layer sole system
is part of the delivery (Fig. 2) and can be
processed individually (Fig. 6). All four insoles
must always be in the shoe.
4. Position the foot with socks or bandage
comfortably in the shoe.
5. Close the hook and loop straps so the foot is
firmly secured.
Ulcer marking and cutting the soles:
1. Place a sterile film on the wound or pressure
ulcer (Fig. 3) and circle the affected area
on the film with the marker pen provided
(Fig. 4).

depends on the grade of the ulcer and should be coordinated with your treating doctor.
Working life / Lifespan of the product
The lifespan of the medical device is determined by natural wear and tear due to proper han-
dling / cleaning. The medical device is designed to be used for the usual duration of use prescribed
by a doctor without showing a reduction in safety or performance. After the period of use
prescribed by your doctor, check the function of the product together with your doctor or specialist
dealer.
Cleaning instructions
If the Healing Shoe is slightly soiled, you can wipe it with a damp cloth or clean it with a soft brush.
Please do not use any aggressive cleaning agents (alcohol etc.). Do not put the shoes in the dryer
or on a heat source, but leave them to dry at room temperature. The soles provided can be cleaned
with lukewarm water and soap or with conventional disinfectants.
Disposal
Dispose of after use. Please dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.
Dispose of this product after use in accordance with applicable local laws and regulations.

2. The patient should now stand up on the
insole in the shoe(s) so the ulcer marks the
upper layer of the insole.
3. The next two layers are now punctured
through the top layer using a pointed object,
thus defining the cutout to be formed
(Fig. 5).
4. Now draw the cutouts to be removed on the
underside of the layers, as described in Fig. 7.
