Instructions for use
WCS® Light | Closed Wound Care Shoe
Important notes

device, please report this to your specialist

In case of adverse effects (e.g. skin swelling,
pressure points, disorders of blood circulation
etc.) please tell your doctor. Function and
optimum protection are no longer guaranteed
if the product is handled incorrectly. This aid
assists recovery and should be used exclusively
under the instruction of and in consultation
Purpose
The Wound Care Shoe is mainly used for minor ulcerations. This enables specific offloading and
pressure redistribution of the foot.
Indications / Contraindications
Indications
> For treatment of diabetic foot syndrome
> For healing of open wounds and minor
ulcerations
> For pressure relief
> During the postoperative phase after toe
and / or forefoot surgery
Design features
The flexible upper material optimally protects the foot from external influences and prevents
dorsal pressure points. The special sole construction achieves optimum pressure redistribution. The
multi-layer insole can be adapted individually to the patient to achieve selective offloading. It can
be worn as an everyday shoe both indoors and outdoors.

also stepping up onto curbs) and walking on
uneven surfaces. Walk more slowly than usual.
This aid is intended for single-patient use only.
