- Page 2 Before replacing the article, the cause of the damage must be localized. If the diagnosis reveals a poor fuel quality, additional work will be required. All fuel filters, prefilter/main filter and, if applicable the long-term filter must be replaced. A dirty fuel system must be cleaned/replaced. Use only fuels which are approved by the vehicle manufacturer. The mounting surface/plate on the engine must be examined before the installation is carried out.

- Page 4 Make sure that the new driver (Oldham/cross-staff head)) (1) is mounted clear and straight on the pump drive, and that the mounting seat on the drive matches the driver. The O-Ring (4) on the article must not be removed during the installation. The 2 screws enclosed (2) are to be fitted according to the manufacturer’s instructions with 22-25 Nm.
