SETTING THE DATE/TIME
Watches with screw crowns:
The crown is normally at position I.
When thoroughly screwed, the watch is fully water resistant. To set the date and time,
unscrew the crown and pull it out to position II or III.
1/ :
setting the date
Unscrew the crown and pull it out to position II.
Turn the crown clockwise to set the date.
: do not set the date between 10 pm
important
and 2 am as the automatic date setting
mechanism kicks in during this period and the
movement could be damaged.
2/ :
setting the time
Unscrew the crown and pull it out to position III.
Turn the crown clockwise to move the hands
to the required time. On all models, the second
hand stops so as to enable the precise time to
be set.
: in order to set the time to the "exact
warning
second", pull the crown out to position III when
the second hand is at 60. The second hand will
stop. Set the time as required, then push the
crown back to position I and screw. The second
hand will start working again.
