Rotate the lock
ring [D5] and
press the power
switch [D9].

Tips for best shaving results
Start out shaving by applying gentle pressure to your face.
Stretch your skin with your free hand and move the shaver
back and forth in the direction of your beard. You may gently
increase the amount of pressure as your skin becomes
accustomed to this shaver. Applying excessive pressure
does not provide a closer shave.
Using the trimmer
Press the trimmer lock button
[D;] and slide the trimmer handle
[D<] up. Place at a right angle to
your skin and move downwards to
trim your sideburns.

While using

Approximate amount of
battery charge is displayed
as 0 ‑ 100 (%) and then
turns off after  seconds.
When the battery capacity is low
ES‑RF41
"0%" blinks when turning
off the shaver.

You can shave 1 to  times
after "0%" appears. (This
will differ depending on
usage.)
•
A full charge will supply enough power for approx. 1
shaves of 3 minutes each.
ES‑RF31

LOW ‑ HIGH and then turns
off after  seconds.
ES‑RF31
"LOW" blinks when turning
off the shaver.
