• Caution: before installing the Darwin Next Stage i-Size child seat, ensure that the
base is clear of any object.

Install the Darwin Next Stage i-Size car seat by fitting the two outer silver
tubes located on the bottom of the child seat (E), in the fastening housings (L) on the
base, until they click correctly.

Correct attachment of the Darwin Next Stage car seat occurs when both
indicators (P2) on the base installation seat turn from red to green.

Always make sure the child seat is fastened correctly before using it. Try to
pull it away, even vigorously.

Correct positioning of the seat with respect to the direction of travel only
occurs when the (P3) indicators turn from red to green.
"REARWARD FACING" POSITION (40 - 105 CM)

Once the seat is installed, rotate the Darwin Next Stage i-Size car seat if
necessary to the rearward facing position.
• The rearward facing position ensures top safety of the child inside the car.
According to the instructions of ECE R129 regulations, it is recommended to use
the rearward facing position for the child seat even after 15 months of age.
Caution: transporting a child in a car is only permitted when all indicators on the
base have turned from red to green.
• Important - Never use the child seat in forward facing position before the child
is over 15 months of age.
• The rearward facing position ensures top safety of the child inside the car.
According to the instructions of ECE R129 regulations, it is recommended to use
the rearward facing position for the child seat even after 15 months of age.

Once installed, rotate the Darwin Next Stage i-Size car seat to the forward-
facing position if necessary.
Caution: transporting a child in a car is only permitted when all indicators on the
base have turned from red to green.
REMOVING THE CAR SEAT FROM THE DARWIN BASE 360° i-SIZE

If necessary, rotate the seat to access the release device (Q), then press it and
simultaneously lift the Darwin Next Stage i-Size seat from the Darwin 360° i-Size base.
ADAPTER

The Darwin Next Stage i-Size car seat is equipped with adapter cushion (D).
It is recommended to remove the adapter when the child is more than 60 cm tall.
HEADREST AND HARNESS ADJUSTMENT
• The head hugger and the harness of the Darwin Next Stage i-Size car seat only
ensure the best protection and safety if adjusted in the correct position depending on
the age and height of the child.

Putting your finger in the slot on the seat (B2), press the release button (B1)
and pull the harness extending it as far as it goes.
