C. MASTER SECTION
1. LIGHT adaptor:
To connect to a lighting installation.
2. POWER SWITCH:
Set this switch to "I" to turn the unit on. Set it to "0" to
turn the unit off. When operating this switch, make sure
that all controls are set to a low volume.
3. MASTER / CUE LEVEL DISPLAY:
This is a VU-meter that shows the output levels of the
left and right channels, and the level of the channel(s) in
cue, if any, that can also be sent to the headphones.
Please do not exceed +3dB to avoid any distortion
sound. The lamp at the bottom shows if the power is
turned on or off.
4. PHANTOM SWITCH:
This switch is recessed to prevent accidental operation
and has a corresponding LED indicator. It should NOT
be operated while the mixer is live. It should be
activated during the setting-up with the main output
faders and MIC input gain controls down. Some
condenser microphones require phantom power. All
XLR MIC inputs will be phantom powered when
selected. Therefore, it is best not to mix microphones
that do and do not require phantom power.
5. AUX1 AND AUX2 SEND LEVEL:
This control will set the desired amount of send signal to
the aux 1 & 2 outputs.
6. AUX1 AND AUX2 RETURN LEVEL:
This control will set the desired amount of return signal
from the aux 1 & 2 return connectors.
7. ECHO LEVEL CONTROL:
Controls the level of the echo signal.
8. REPEAT CONTROL:
The repeat control determines the duration of the ECHO
return signal. The amount of ECHO that you can create
depends on the strength of the original signal.
9. DELAY TIME CONTROL:
The delay control changes the amount of time between
the original sound and the echoed sound.
10. ECHO CHANNEL SELECTOR (AUX1, AUX2, OFF):
This selector allows you to determine on which channel
you want echo.
11. OUTPUT MASTER 1/2 LEFT & RIGHT LEVEL SLIDE CONTROLS:
These controls are used to adjust the level of the MASTER 1 and 2 left and right output signals.
12. HEADPHONES SCOURCE SELECTOR:
With this selector you determine if you hear the Master or Cue signal in the headphones. When this switch is
disengaged, you hear the cued channel(s). When it is engaged, you hear the master channel.
13. HEADPHONES LEVEL CONTROL:
This control regulates the overall level of the headphones jack.
14. HEADPHONES JACK:
Regular stereo headphones with standard 6.35mm jack can be used.
