the floor while unpacking: the bottom plate of the
stove has a sharp edge.
4. Take all necessary fire safety measures (see points 1
to 8 on page 21)
5. If necessary, put the bottom plate where the stove
is to be placed. You can choose from three bottom
plates: one iron-cast plate, a round steel-bevelled
plate and a rectangular steel plate.

6. Decide whether to connect the flue tube on the rear
or on the top. If opting for the rear connection, you
must replace the pipe mouth with the cover plate.
To do this, unscrew the screws (see the photograph),
then cut off the hole in the rear wall and the armour
plate to have access to the rear connection.
7. Lift the stove carefully to put it on the bottom plate.

8. Put the upper plate on the stove. NOTE: Never
touch soap stone with wet or dirty hands as it will
give stains that cannot be removed.
9. Install the flue tube. Don't forget the sealing washer.
If opting for the rear connection, you can place the
supplied upper grate into the hole of the pipe con-
nection on top of the stove.
10. Open the door and place the baffle plate onto the
side plates (see illustration 2) and close the door.

11. The type tag can be changed into a tag with the
desired language.

Replacing the glass in the door
• Open the door with the broken glass.
• Remove the glass strips on the inside of the door.
• Replace the glass. Be careful, the glass may be
sharp!
• Check if the ceramic strip is undamaged and properly
fixed on the door.
If it isn't, stick it on again with neutral silicone paste
or replace it entirely.
• Replace the broken glass (watch out for sharp
edges!).
• Reassemble everything.
