In double RET mode or in
RET+CET:
• If you are using a neutral
accessory in return, select
the "Neutral Fix" mode.
• If you are using a return
RET electrode, select the
"Neutral Mobile" mode.
5. PERFORMING A TREATMENT
5.1 PREPARING THE DEVICE AND PERFORMING A TREATMENT
After making sure that the patient does not have any contraindications and they fully understood the purpose of the
treatment, choose the appropriate protocol for the pathology being treated and make sure that the device and its
accessories are in perfect working order.
Step one: Clean the accessories and the area(s) to be treated. The area should be clean and dry.
Step two: Position the device so that the air vents at the back and sides are not obstructed. The cooling system is
air based and it is vital that the vents are not obstructed. Place the device on a flat surface.
It is now ready to be used.
5.2 TREATMENT
1. Rear panel and connections
For details of the different connectors, please refer to the rear view of the device, chapter « 3.1 Location of BACK4
controls ».
Turn on the device (rear power button + front ON/OFF button).
Connect the accessories (from 1 to 3 as needed) and the emergency button and check if the connectors of the
accessories are correctly connected to the device.
Selection of intensity and
treatment time: If you
press on the intensity
or the treatment time, a
numeric keypad appears
on the right of the screen.
Select the intensity (from 1
to 100%) or the time (from
1 to 60 minutes) then press
to the validation button.
