Indication:
DD Solid Connect® Implant Components are used to support
prosthetic restorations in combination with endosseous dental
implants in the upper and/or lower jaw.
Material:
• DD Ti-Base 2CUT noLock & DD Implant Screw:
Ti6AI4V (medical grade 5) ASTM 136 ELI
• The black lab screw is made of stainless steel (1.4305)
and the blue lab screw is made of titanium (Ti6AI4V).
General product description:
The DD Ti-Base 2CUT noLock is used to fabricate individual
prosthetic restorations on implants. The titanium bonding bases
have an implant connection manufactured with high precision,
a circumferential platform of minimum thickness that facilitates
the design of the emergence profile, and a cylinder, which can be
shortened, for bonding prosthetic structures. The bonding bases
of the "noLock" version have a non-engaging implant connection
and are only suitable for prosthetic restorations of bridges and
bars. DD Solid Connect® Implant Components are compatible with
various implant systems.
Contraindication:
• Intolerance to the materials contained
• Inadequate oral hygiene
• Lack of space
• Distal extension (free-end) restorations on single implants
Processing in laboratory and practice:
DD Solid Connect® Implant Components may only be used by
dental professionals who have sufficient experience in the field of
dental technology, implantology and dental surgery.
• Laboratory:
In the laboratory, the technician selects the DD Ti-Base 2CUT no-
Lock bonding basis that corresponds to the implant to be restored
(see table). DD Ti-Base 2CUT noLock is supplied with a chimney
height of 6 mm. The chimney height can be shortened at prede-
fined grooves to a height of 5 mm or 4 mm by using a 0.3 mm
thick fabric-reinforced cutting disc. The geometry of the titani-
um bonding base must not be processed in any way except for
shortening the chimney height and removing the burr from the
edges. During subsequent fabrication of prosthetic structures, the
minimum wall thickness specified by the zirconium manufacturer
must be followed. The individual restoration is constructed using
dental design software. It is possible to veneer the ceramic abut-
ment. Veneering is carried out using suitable veneering materials
and following the manufacturer's instructions. Veneering must
always be completed before bonding. The bonding surfaces of
the titanium bonding base must be treated with Al2O3 abrasives
110 μm and max. 2 bar before bonding. The surfaces are bonded
with a suitable luting material (e.g. Multilink® Hybrid Abutment)
in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. After curing,
all adhesive residues on basal surfaces and in the screw channel
must be carefully removed.
Caution: On the model, only use the Lab Screw (max. torque:
10 Ncm).

• Practice:
The individual prosthetic restoration is placed in the patient's
mouth using the silver Implant Screw. In the case of long-span
bridge restorations, care must be taken to ensure that the screw
connections are free of stress. To avoid any stresses, the implant
screws are tightened diagonally.
Please note: The Implant Screw must be tightened with the
torque specific to the system.
