Consult the online programming guide on www.niko.eu for detailed settings
1. DESCRIPTION
This motion detector registers movement via a passive infrared sensor (PIR).
You use this device in combination with a master (350-41600 and 350-41620) to expand the detection area. A maximum of 20 secondary detectors can be
connected to one master. Both the master and the secondary detector have the same detection range. To cover a complete surface with multiple detectors, it is
recommended to take into account an overlap of around 30%.
The secondary detector controls the lighting according to the parameters set on the master. For more information, consult the manual of the master.
The detector has a very flat design of only 5 mm, so that it can be mounted almost flush with the ceiling.
2. INSTALLATION
2.1. Connection
Do not install the detector while it is connected to the mains voltage supply. Do not connect the device to the mains voltage until installation is complete. It is not
necessary to assemble the detector immediately because it has removable connectors. This allows the connector first to be cabled separately according to the
wiring diagram (see fig. 3) and then to be pushed back into the detector.
2.2. Mounting
Do not install the detector in the vicinity of heat sources such as stoves or electric heaters, air currents (ventilation systems) or moving objects (see fig. 1). This
can activate the device unnecessarily because the device reacts to movement and heat.

The recommended mounting height is 2.4 m. At this height the detector has a range with a diameter of 8 m on the ground (Fig. 5).

300 lx/
The detector is suitable for direct mounting in the ceiling (see fig. 4). As a protection, the detector has a cover around the connectors. In addition, the detector

also has standard spring clips that allow easy mounting in the ceiling.
2.3. Settings
800 lx/
As soon as the detector is connected to the mains voltage, the sensitivity can be set using the IR remote control 350-41934 (to be purchased separately) or the
60 min
Niko detector tool IR app and related universal remote control for smartphone 350-41936. How to set the detector using the IR remote control 350-41934 is
described below. The Niko detector tool IR app is self-explanatory.

2.3.1. Setting the sensitivity of the detector
Lux
The sensitivity can be set at four fixed levels in which "1" is the highest sensitivity and "4" is the lowest sensitivity. For example, the sensitivity is set at the high
sensitivity "2" as follows:
