5.– SAFETY
There are potential risks that need to be taken into
account when operating your solid fuel Cooker, what-
ever the make.
These risks can be minimized if you follow the instruc-
tions and recommendations that we have provided in
this manual.
We recommend that you follow a number of rules and
tips listed below, but above all we recommend using
your own good judgement and common sense.
Keep any flammable materials far away (curtains,
clothes, etc.), at a minimum safety distance of 0.90
m.
Protect furniture adjacent to the Cooker with heat-
resistant materials, and the areas of the worktop
and the smoke outlet.
Leave a gap of 30-40 mm between any furniture
and the sides of the Cooker to allow air to circulate
around it. Except when they are combustible mate-
rials. If the cooker is installed next to combustible
materials, please leave a correct security distance,
established as per the test conducted according to
the UNE-EN 12815 standard. See the image below.
The ash should be emptied in a metal container and
should be removed from the house immediately.
Liquid fuels should never be used to light your
Cooker. Keep any type of flammable liquid
(gasoline, oil, alcohol, etc.) well away.
Carry out regular inspections of the chimney and
clean it when necessary.

Metal doors, cooker controls and the worktop reach
very high temperatures during operation and,
therefore, protective gloves should be used when
handling the air inlet controls or to open and close
doors.
IMPORTANT! Take special care when placing the
support rod of the practical worktop. Ensure that it
is properly secured and that it cannot become
loose. Do NOT use the workable worktop in its open
position, without securing the support rod correct-
ly. The device is firmly set within the enamelled
framework. When you close the worktop, do so by
holding it by the handle and never place your hands
under the edge of the worktop
