Sliding the regenerator into the pipe

1. Check that the tension cable is positioned securely on
the regenerator (1) before sliding it in.
2. Slide the regenerator with the filters (2) and (3) that
have already been installed into the pipe until it reaches
the outer wall-mounting frame.
Condition: Installation dimensions: < 300 mm (< 11.81 in)
–
Leave out the inner filter (3).
–
The regenerator and tension cable must not touch
the fan's impeller.
5.7 Sliding sound insulation rings into the pipe
(optional)
1. Select the number of sound insulation rings from the set
in accordance with the wall's installation dimensions.
–
Required clearance from the internal wall: 100 mm
–
Required clearance from the regenerator: 30 mm
2. Remove each of the two inner restrictor rings.

Installing the fan unit

A
1. Install the fan unit with the wind guard and front panel
(that have already been fitted) on the wall-mounting
frame.
2. Ensure that the contact for the plug connection has
been correctly established on the wall-mounting frame.
6 Start-up
6.1

Switching on the product

Validity: VAR 60/1 D

Use the VAZ RC remote control to initialise all of the
ventilation units in the system one after the other.
–
See the operating instructions for the remote con-
trol.
Note
When using an optional VAZ CPC control,
the remote control is only required for the
start-up.

Starting with the master, use the on/off switch to
switch on all of the ventilation units in the ventilation
system in sequence. If an optional VAZ CPC control is
provided, start this up before switching on the master.

Use the VAZ CPC control or the VAZ RC remote con-
trol to set an operating mode and the functions.

the remote control.

Use the VAZ RCW remote control to set up all of the
ventilation units in the system as either masters or
slaves.

See the operating instructions for the remote con-
trol.
▶
Use the on/off switch to switch on all of the ventila-
tion units in the ventilation system. If an optional VAZ
CPCW control is provided, this must be configured as
the master.
▶
Use the VAZ CPCW control or the VAZ RCW remote
control to set an operating mode and the functions.
