Proper use

❐ Only use the device in enclosed areas.
❐ Check the device for damages prior to each use. The device or mains adapter may not
be used if they exhibit visible damages. Do not attempt to replace parts or repair the
device yourself. In the event of damage, contact customer service.
❐ Do not use the device if it malfunctions or has vacuumed up pointy objects (e. g. glass
splinters) or if the device has fallen down. Have the device inspected by a profes-
sional or contact customer service.
❐ In the event of damages/malfunctions, immediately deactivate the device.
❐ Only use the device if it has been completely and correctly assembled! The dust bin
and fi lter must be in place. The fi lter may not be damaged!
❐ Do not use any additional accessories.
❐ Do not subject the device to extreme temperatures, severe temperature fl uctuations,
open fl ames or direct sunlight.
❐ Do not allow the device to fall and do not subject it to strong percussions.
❐ Do not insert anything in the unit's openings/nozzles and ensure that they are not
plugged.
❐ Never leave the device running when unattended.
❐ Immediately turn the device off
– if you stop using the device for a short period of time,
– if you are fi nished using the device,
– before you change the nozzles,
– if an error or fault occurs during operation,
– if foreign objects penetrate the device,
– before you clean the device parts and accessories.
❐ Empty the dust bin after every use. The fi lters must also be cleaned regularly to pre-
vent the motor from being overloaded.
❐ Do not attempt to use the charger for another device and do not charge the device
with another charger. Only use the charger included with this device.
❐ Do not use the device with an extension cord or if it is still connected to the mains
adapter and a power source.
❐ Only use the enclosed mains adapter to charge the storage battery. Only use the
adapters recommended by the manufacturer.
❐ The device must be turned off when connecting and/or disconnecting the mains
adapter. When doing so, always disconnect the mains adapter from the socket by
pulling the plug and not the cord!
❐ Only connect the mains adapter to a properly installed socket. The socket must also
be easily accessible after the device has been connected. The mains voltage must
correspond to the technical data of the device.
❐ Ensure that the connected cord does not pose a trip hazard.
