Holding it vertically, lightly move the SANUS Magnetic Stud Finder up
and down while sliding across your wall. The magnet within will be
attracted to the screws in the stud.
Once the magnet has landed on a screw, place a pencil mark on the
wall directly below the magnet.
You can verify this is a stud by moving the Magnetic Stud Finder up or
down to find a second or third screw within the wall.
Pull apart the SANUS Magnetic Stud Finder to expose the probing pin
within. Starting about 1/2 inch away from the first pencil mark insert
the probing pin into the wall every 1/8 inch until it inserts completely
into the wall. Once that happens, you know you've found one edge of
your stud. Repeat this process till you have found the stud edges and
center of the stud.

LOCALISEZ LES MONTANTS EN DEUX SIMPLES ÉTAPES :
Placez le localisateur de montants magnétique SANUS en position verticale sur le
mur et faites-le glisser légèrement vers le haut et le bas. L'aimant situé à l'intérieur
sera attiré par les vis dans le montant.
Dès que l'aimant détecte une vis, marquez l'emplacement au crayon sur le mur,
directement sous l'aimant.
Vous pouvez vérifier que cela indique effectivement la présence d'un montant en
déplaçant le localisateur de montants magnétique vers le haut ou le bas pour
trouver une deuxième ou une troisième vis dans le mur.
Ouvrez le localisateur de montants magnétique SANUS pour exposer la tige de
sondage contenue à l'intérieur. Pour trouver les bords du montant, démarrez à
1/2 po (13 mm) de la première marque au crayon et insérez la tige de sondage
dans le mur tous les 1/8 po (3 mm) jusqu'à ce qu'elle rentre entièrement dans
le mur. Répétez cette opération jusqu'à ce que vous ayez localisé les deux
bords et le centre.
