10 Faults, causes and elimination

ATTENTION!
Switch off the power supply before starting any work on the pump. It is
also important to ensure that the power supply can not be switched on
again by mistake.
Fault
The system is switched off.
A fuse in the electrical installation has blown.
The pump will not operate.
No power supply
The circuit breaker has triggered.
Faulty power supply
The control is switched off.

Pump is blocked with dirt

11 Spare parts

There are no spare parts available for the UP pump. In case of
damage, the complete pump must be replaced and the defective
unit sent to the system manufacturer.

12 Disposal

Observe all environmental requirements regarding disposal and
correct recycling in accordance with all applicable standards.

Remember that the condensers can still be live for up to 30 s
after the pump has been switched off.

Remedy
Check the system control.
Replace the fuse.
Check the supply connection and switch the circuit breaker
on again.
Check the power supply
Check the control and its settings
Remove the dirt. Unblock the pump at the front of the electrical unit using a
screwdriver.
Replace the pump.
Check that the cable is connected correctly to the control. If so, replace the
cable.
Purge the system.
Reduce the output of the pump on the pump or on the control.
Run the pump. The pump will purge itself automatically over time.
Increase the supply pressure or check the gas volume in the expansion ves-
sel (if present).
Check the external control and the pump settings.
Check the check valve and the filter. Increase the system pressure.
Unblock the rotor shaft. To do this, press on the rotor shaft at the front of the
pump using a screwdriver.
Check the power supply.
Replace the pump.
