Always place cookware on the hotplate
before it is switched on.

If possible, always place lids on the pans.

Switch hotplates off before the end of the
cooking time, to take advantage of resid-
ual heat.

Bottom of pans and hotplate should be
the same size.

Cleaning and Care

Take care! Risk of burns from residual heat.
Let the appliance cool down.
Cleaning the appliance after each use
1. Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth and a little washing up liquid.
2. Rub the appliance dry using a clean cloth.
Removing deposits
1. Remove heavy deposits from the hotplates using fine scouring powder or
a scouring pad.
2. Wipe off residues with a damp cloth.
3. Then heat the hotplate to a low temperature and leave to dry.
4. To maintain the hotplates, rub in a little sewing machine oil now and again
and then polish off with absorbent paper.

Important: Do not clean the stainless steel edge of the hob with scouring
powder or a scouring pad as this will leave scratches!
For stainless steel hobs only use suitable stainless steel cleaning and main-
tenance products. Please the manufacturer's instructions.

The stainless steel edge of the plate can be slightly discoloured as a result
of thermal load. This process is caused by the physical properties.
