CLEANING AND STORAGE

1. Unplug the appliance.
2. Let the appliance cool down before removing the plates.
The plates can be removed by pressing the plate release buttons on the appliance, after which
the plates can be lifted out of the appliance by means of the handles.
3. Clean the plates with a soft cloth or sponge in hot soapy water or put them in the
dishwater.
Never use abrasive or scouring cleaning agents and materials, as this will damage the non-stick
coating of the plate. Residues can be removed by soaking the plates in hot soapy water for five
minutes. This will loosen any caked food or grease.
4. Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.
The appliance can be stored in vertical or horizontal position.
