    Gebruik enkel de originele wisselstukken van de fabrikant. Deze kachel is niet geschikt om te installeren op een rookkanaal waarop meerdere kachels zijn aangesloten. De Saey Cross is enkel geschikt om brandhout en houtbriketten in te branden en enkel bestemd voor gesloten werking. Brandgevaar De Saey Cross houtkachel, vooral de deur, voorkant, bovenkant en rookkanalen kunnen enorm heet worden.

  • Page 20 Eerste ingebruikname Het is aan te raden, de kachel bij eerste gebruik een aantal uren te laten doorbranden. Op deze manier kan eventuele verf in de kachel goed uitdrogen en inbakken. Het kan zijn dat hierbij rook kan vrijkomen. Deze rook is niet schadelijk, maar het is wel aangeraden voor voldoende verluchting in de kamer te zorgen.
  • Page 21 Deze bediening zorgt ervoor dat u zelf de hoeveelheid lucht kan regelen die de kachel nodig heeft om te zorgen voor de verbranding. Deze regeling werkt met verschillende posities. Als de bediening helemaal naar rechts (+) staat, is de luchttoevoer helemaal geopend. Als deze naar links (-) staat, is deze gesloten. U kan de positie ook in het midden zetten, zodat de bediening halfopen is.

    Uitdoven Wanneer u beslist om de kachel te laten uitdoven en er geen geel – witte vlammen meer zichtbaar zijn, mag u de verbrandingslucht helemaal sluiten naar links Op de bodem van het houtrooster zullen zich nog resten bevinden van hout en houtskool. Dit is uiterst normaal.
  • Page 23 Aslade Onder de verbrandingskamer bevindt zich een aslade. Deze kan worden verwijderd met behulp van de meegeleverde hendel. De aslade mag niet meer dan de bovenrand met as gevuld zijn.   • Page 24 Verwijderen van het stookrooster Om de verbrandingskamer schoon te maken, kan het staande rooster aan de voorkant eenvoudig naar boven worden verwijderd Om het as compartiment schoon te maken, kan het rooster eenvoudig worden opgeklapt en verwijderd. Hiervoor is een handvat aan de voorkant van het rooster gemaakt.

Reinigen van kachelruit De Saey Cross beschikt over een zelfreinigend systeem, waarbij vervuiling van de kachelruit zo lang mogelijk uitgesteld wordt. Toch kunnen verschillende oorzaken (vochtig hout, slecht stoken, … ) niet vermijden dat de kachelruit sneller vuil wordt.

  • Page 64 First use When first using the stove, it is advised to burn on maximal power for a couple of hours. This makes sure that remaining paint in the can dry out. Possibly smoke can occur and escape. This smoke is harmless, but to make sure, please vent the rooms sufficiently.
