ATTENTION ! Low voltage cables must not run together in
a cable conduit with cables carrying a higher
voltage than 50 V.
Î Pay attention to the local regulations!
Î Close the housing
Î To close the housing again, relocate the upper part of
the housing and refasten the cover screw
Î Establish the network connection by means of the in-
cluded LAN cable
Î Establish the mains connection by means of the inclu-
ded mains adapter
Depending on whether you want to access your solar system
or adjust the network settings, the VBus
adapter can be accessed in two different ways:
• In order to access the solar system via the RESOL
ServiceCenter Software (data processing and remote
parametrisation of the controller, see chap. „System ac-
cess via RSC-Software" on page 20), the VBus
face adapter has to be accessed via the RESOL Service-
Center Software.
• In order to adjust the network settings (retrieving and
changing the IP address, changing the device name and
password, see chap. „Network settings" auf Seite 22), the
VBus /LAN interface adapter has to be accessed via the

operating system of the computer. To make these adjust-
ments possible, the UPnP access has to be enabled.
