TO OPERATE - HEATING PROCESS
17. Pull out the electric cable as far as you need.
Do not pull it out further than indicated
by the coloured band on the cable.
18.Plug the power cable into an earthed socket.
19. Press the On/Off button.
20. The Power On pilot light comes on to show that
the appliance is switched on. The generator
heating pilot light comes on.
21. Turn the steam output dial to the middle setting.
Wait 30 seconds before the trying to use the
iron. At that point you will hear an audible
signal.
22. Press steam trigger until steam comes
out. When you switch on the iron, it may take
up to 30 seconds before you can call for
steam. The steam output will remain at a
reduced level until the generator light goes out,
by which time it will have reached the normal
level.
Please note :
Whilst you are ironing, the generator and iron
heating pilot lights repeatedly go on and off. This
is normal, and you can continue to iron and to use
the steam.
