OPERATION

• Place the unit so that the on/off switch is in front of them.
• Make sure that the knob is in position [0]. Insert the plug into the power outlet and
switch the appliance on. Check the noise of the blade to make sure that the knife
rotates smoothly. Also check that the on indicator works well. Turn the appliance off
and wait until the blade stops rotating.
• The thickness of the desired slice can be adjusted by turning the knob.
• Place the food to be cut on the sliding carriage that presses against the arm of the
food holder facing the blade, and make sure that the food is against the movable
partition.
• Turn on the carriage to activate the blade.
• After use, return the knob to position [0].
• The food handle should not be removed unless the shape and size of the food does
not permit its use.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning, remove the plug from the socket and make sure that the rotary
knob (6) is in position [0]. The blade guard must be closed while the blade is being
cleaned.
• Do not spray the machine with water.
• Do not use brushes that could damage the surface of the machine.
• Use a soft, damp cloth and a neutral cleaning agent such as detergent for cleaning.
• The machine must be cleaned at least once a day or more frequently if necessary
(each time the product type is changed), taking care to carefully clean all surfaces
that come into contact with the food to be cut.
• It is not necessary to disassemble the knife for cleaning, as it can be cleaned in all
its parts without having to disassemble it.
WARNING
Danger of injury! Wear special, cut-proof gloves during cleaning and
maintenance to prevent cuts.
