Preparing AIBO for Party Mascot

Check that the pause button on AIBO's
chest is pressed in.
The button should be depressed about 1 mm from
the surface.

Grasp AIBO securely by the body and
open the rear cover.
Slide the unlock button to open the cover.
Notes
• Pick up AIBO by the body, not by its extremities.
• Do not touch the charging terminal on the underside of AIBO directly with your hand.
Doing so may soil the terminal and cause poor contact.

Insert the Party Mascot "Memory Stick"
in the direction of the arrow with the
label side up.

Insert so that only the colored
part of the label is visible.
