✧ Insert the new microfuse T2A/250V into the snap-in fastener.
WARNING
Warning against using an improperly dimensioned microfuse.
Non-observance can result in death or severe injury.
✧ Use only microfuses of type T2A/250 V.
✧ Reinstall the device as described in Chapter 9.2.2.
✧ If you have disconnected the cables from the terminal strip, reconnect the
cables to the screw terminals. Observe the correct wiring when doing so.
✧ Take the device into operation.
11 Storage and Transport
Store the device in a dry and clean location. Store the device within a temperature
range from -25 °C to +55 °C, corresponding to -13 °F to 131 °F.
The relative humidity must be within limits such that neither condensation nor ice
forms.
To avoid premature aging of the electrolytic capacitors, store the device within the
recommended temperature range of +10 °C to +35 °C (50 °F to 95 °F).
Siemens furthermore recommends connecting the device to auxiliary voltage once
a year for 1 to 2 days in order to form the inserted electrolytic condensers. This pro-
cedure should also be carried out before operating the device.
For further transport, use the transport packaging in the same way. The storage
packaging of the individual devices is not suited for transport. If alternative packag-
ing is used, this must also provide the same degree of protection against mechan-
ical shock and vibration as laid down in IEC 60255–21–1 class 2 and IEC 60255–
21–2 class 1.
