OPERATION AND DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING
Before riding the vehicle, please make sure that you are fully familiar with all operating controls & their functions. Consult your
local Nipponia dealer if you need more assistance.
ACTIVATING THE MOTOR
1. Turn the main switch to the ON position to activate the motor.
2.
Push the vehicle off the main stand.
3. Keep at least one foot to the ground to support the scooter.
4. Adjust the rear-view mirrors.
5.
Before taking off, turn on the signal light and make sure it is safe to go.
ACCELERATION
There is a function that can alternate between soft and hard acceleration.
To set soft acceleration:
1. Hold the left brake lever when the scooter is powered off.
2. Turn the ignition key on, meanwhile keeping the left brake lever pressed.
3. Rotate the throttle grip all the way 5 times in 5 seconds, while keeping the left brake lever pressed.
4. Release brake lever. Soft acceleration has been set.
To set hard acceleration:
While in soft acceleration mode, rotate the throttle grip fully 6 times and VOLTY will revert to hard acceleration mode.
