GENERAL INFORMATION:
Children are not yet fully developed either physically or mentally. Exactly for this
reason, children are not solely responsible for themselves. They remain under the
protection of their parents.
Diving, like many other kinds of sports, holds certain risks. Unfortunately, occasionally
diving accidents, sometimes with enduring damage to health or in rare cases, even
death are caused mostly by divers' mistakes and misjudgement of their capabilities or
by an overreaching willingness to assume risks. Therefore, never let children dive
alone. They must always be accompanied by an experienced adult.
WARNING:
In order to dive wearing the purchased jacket, children must be trained and certified by
a recognised training body. Improper handling can have serious consequences.
Children must always be accompanied by an experienced adult diver.
Before using the jacket in open water, familiarise yourself with the way the jacket works
by practising in a controlled environment, e.g. a swimming pool.
replacement for deficient swimming skills.
PURPOSE OF USE
Buoyancy:
After reaching the desired diving depth, buoyancy compensation is achieved where the
amount of air in the jacket is adjusted by means of the inflator so that the diver neither
sinks nor rises. In that way neutral buoyancy is reached.
Therefore, it is very important that the amount of lead which is carried along is in the
proper ratio to the buoyancy in the water so that the jacket can be optimally tared.
