9.3. Removing and reinserting the wire shelf
 To remove the wire shelf (8), open the door fully.
 Lift the wire shelf upwards with both hands and remove the wire shelf from the cooling
chamber (6) at a slight angle.
To assemble the wire shelf, proceed as follows:

10. Operating the appliance
 Connect the appliance to an earthed mains socket. The local mains voltage must
correspond to the technical specifications for the appliance.
The temperature control (7) setting automatically adjusts the temperature setting in the
cooling chamber (6) and ice cube compartment (9).
The cooling temperature can be set as follows:
0
The appliance is switched off
1
The lowest level of cooling (the warmest at approx. 6 °C)
2–4
Intermediate position
5
The highest level of cooling (the coldest at approx. -4 °C)
Fluctuating ambient temperatures can cause the energy consumption and temperature
inside the refrigerator to rise.
 Before loading fresh food, set the cooling chamber (6) temperature to the coldest
setting 5 and close the door.
 Check the temperature in the cooling chamber compartment with a thermometer. The
ideal temperature is +5°C. You can load the food once this temperature is reached.
Them set the temperature control (7) to a centre position.
The internal temperatures can be influenced by factors such as the installation
location, ambient temperature and the number of times the door is opened.
Take these factors into account when setting the temperature control (7).
