(2) Reference standard: ISO 3746
(3) Wear ear protection
2. Information about vibration level
(1) Vibration at the handle about: 0.233 m/s2.
(2) Reference standard: EN 28662-1
3. Information on temperature
(1) Temperature increase on the handle (after 8 h compared with the initial temperature):
1.7 °C
4. Warning
(1) The device is not isolated against contact with current sources.
(2) If the device blocks high torque forces might occur.
A blocking might be caused by:
Canting of the drill bit
Excessive pressure
Breakthrough of the drill bit on the workpiece
(3) Unexpectedly occurring torque force or breaking of the drill bit might result in injuries.
(4) Inappropriate posture might cause that it is not possible to appropriately counteract sud-
denly occurring torquen forces.
(5) The device must be disconnected from the compressed air before changing the drill bit.
(6) Observe the dangers when drill bits and drill chucks are rotating.
(7) Observe risk of stumbling.
(8) Observe the dangers of a defective compressed air hose slewing around.
5. Notes
(1) If you want to completely drill through a workpiece, be prepared for possible suddenly
occurring of torque forces.
Immediately release the start button.
(2) Before using the device make sure that the pin spanner is removed.
(3) Only use lubricants recommended by the manufacturer.
6. Explanation of warning signs
Read the operating instructions before use
Warning: Risk of crushing between machine and material
Wear ear protection
Wear safety goggles
7. Use
Rotating compressed air device with drill chuck driven by a compressed air motor. Drill bits
are fi xed in the drill chuck by means of Allan screws. Appropriate for drilling of metal, wood
and other materials.
8. Weight: about 2.5kg
Maintenance and care (lubricating instructions for air motor)
• The user is responsible for lubricating the device. If the recommended lubrication intervals
are not observed, the service life of the device might be considerably reduced. Damages due
to improper lubrication will result in rejecting any warranty claims.
This device must be lubricated before its fi rst use as well as before and after each use.
• This device must be lubricated during its whole service life. Lubricate at two separate posi-
tions:
At the air motor and at the depth adjustment gauge. To do so, observe the following
instructions:
• The compressed air motor must be lubricated every day.
