• Check that the belt is centred on the drum and drum motor. If not, the belt must immediately be
adjusted (see the section on belt adjustment).
• The conveyor belt always starts with the speed selected on the potentiometer.
• The conveyor belt always starts gently. The desired speed is reached after five seconds.
• The conveyor belt always stops slowly. It stops completely after two seconds. However, this does
not apply if the conveyor belt's emergency stop has been activated. In that case the belt stops
immediately.
6. Functional description - series connection
• The first conveyor belt in a series connection must be a CCU unit. All other units must be of the
CU type.
• A maximum of seven CU units can be connected to a CCU unit. All CCU and CU conveyor belts
may differ in length, and the length of each belt has no influence on how the series connection
operates.
• Before starting the series connection, all units must be connected using CU cables as shown in
the diagram.

• When one or more CU units are connected to a CCU unit using a CU cable, the changeover
switch and potentiometer are automatically disconnected on the individual CU units, and all
functions are controlled from the CCU unit. If an emergency stop is activated on the series
connection, all units will immediately stop.
• It is important to remembat that each CCU and CU unit in a series connection must have its own
power supply.
• Make sure to put on the cap for the OUT power outlet on the last conveyor in the row.
• The change over switch must be at null/stop on all slave units.
1. Connect all units to the correct power supply.
2. Check that the CU cable / all CU cables are correctly connected.
3. You start all units by turning the changeover switch on the CCU unit either right or left.
a. Turning the changeover switch to the right causes the belts to travel forward.
b. Turning the changeover switch to the left causes the belts to travel backward.
c. When the changeover switch is set to STOP, the belts stop.
4. The speed of all units can be adjusted on the CCU unit's potentiometer. The speed can be
adjusted whether all units are stopped or in operation.
a. When the potentiometer is set to 0, the speed will be approximately 20 cm/s.
b. When the potentiometer is set to 10, the speed will be approximately 80 cm/s.
• Check that all belts are centred on the drum and drum motor. If not, the belt in question must
immediately be adjusted (see the section on belt adjustment).
• The conveyor belt always starts with the speed selected on the potentiometer.
• The conveyor belt always starts gently. The desired speed is reached after five seconds.
• The conveyor belt always stops slowly. It stops completely after two seconds. However, this does
not apply if one of the conveyor belt's emergency stop has been activated. In that case all belts
stop immediately.
